Three years ago, when cinema began to take a full-on metamorphosis into the digital age, a committee of industry insiders began to realize that popular video hosts weren’t reliable for showcasing the brilliant imaginations that executives and paying audiences demanded.  In consideration of this new phenomenon, NOW Casting, the premiere leader in bringing talent to top studios, major agencies, and independent filmmakers, became the host of the first On-line Film Festival.

Last year we proved our prestige as one of our finalists went on to win the Academy Award ™ for Best Live Action Short.  Multiple finalists also attained distribution deals. Our wonderful sponsors also honor the imagination and brilliance of filmmakers by providing our filmmakers with the resources that are essential to establishing their careers.

START DATE:  October 17, 2007 - Every Wednesday for twenty-five weeks NowFilmFestival.com will showcase a finalist film.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Our festival is open to all filmmakers. We encourage submissions of all forms of content (ie Live Action, Animation, Music Video), provided that they are under 25 minutes running time between credits.
